mara's market to main street market

my flea market buddy kathy {sweet pea & violet}
 and i are 
taking the leap and will be setting up shop
at this fantastic market.

Urban FarmGirl 
along with 50+ vendors
are setting up shop on the grounds of the village of
the midway village museum in
rockford, illinois.
chuck it out here. 
i know that pamm from fresh eggs and jan from gracies cottage
will be there also.

kathy and i always have fun at flea markets, 
this one should be a blast.

crazy purchase?

here is what i bought at the hixton schoolhouse antique mall....

crazy yes, but i like it, not sure what i will do with it.

it would be great in a 40's bathroom,

mudroom, vintage kitchen.....

or a book & stationery store. 

crazy or not?

working weekend

i told rick i had to go to work last weekend,

he sort of had a chuckle.

this last weekend i did go to the office,

actually the office at the 

hixton schoolhouse antique mall

 to further my studies on all things antiques.

we went up north to the farm and made a quick stop at

the hixton schoolhouse antique mall on the way up.

keri from meadowview farm and her husband were working.  

they are so nice, the epitome of good folks.

but a bit pricey.

i did purchase something, not sure if i will show the item - as you may think what in the world???

also managed a quick stop at odana antique mall on sunday,
it was a very busy working weekend : )
