johnny and I were there

photo from Wikipedia

at different times of course.  I never made it to Columbus when they were filming Public Enemies back in march of 2008, it was cold!  It was quite the excitement to have the movie filmed all around wisconsin, rumors were always flying about depp sightings.  Columbus is just about 40 minutes from me.

here are a few photos of the town, some were used in the movie.

I am sure some villains were wandering around here.

columbus is also home to a really big antique mall that i like to visit, prices are usually pretty good and you never know what you will find.  it is Over 82,000 square feet of antiques, with 222 dealers in 444 booths in 18 rooms, plus it has a museum on columbus.  you can get lost, but if you go there enough you can find your way around, this is why i am determined to keep going so often. lol.
want it, need it?
here's "super vintage boy"  able to spot vintage toys with his x-ray vision.  this little cutie was having fun with his make-shift super hero cape.
definitely need this.
here is part of the museum, on 2nd floor in the antique mall and is self serve.
this building is right next to the antique mall.
this is a little shop in the town, love the store front.
SWEET!
