i thought we were in the same area as urban farmgirl.

she posted pictures of a lovely drive she took near her parents in illinois.   a few of her photos looked like the scenic drive we were on heading north from the quad cities along the mississippi river on the illinois side up to galena.  love seeing the small river cities along the route.

 check her blog out, she has great photos and stories, very talented.  hope to visit her booth at the kane county flea market sometime.  

oh, rick snapped the photo above on our drive, we spotted these hard workers just as we were almost over the stateline back into wisconsin, if i am remembering correctly.

sorry, we've been away at the cottage.

just kidding, better yet we were visiting don in illinois.  we had a mini vacation which included a stop in leclaire, iowa home of that famous duo mike and frank.  the home above is in a very pretty neighborhood in illinois.   more photos to come.
