we had a great time visiting our son, Don in Iowa. just a quick photo and more to come. we didn't visit the pickers but it is on the to do list!

my job today

my job today was to spread the word that we now have a Krispy Kreme in the neighborhood! I had no idea until I read about it opening today. How could I not know this??? never saw it coming. guess I need to get going to the nearest Krispy Kreme now near me.

sunday stroll

Rick and I strolled to one of my favorite spots in town Sunday afternoon. It is approximately 6 blocks from our house. Beautiful place anytime of the year. We can see Madison from here.

old milwaukee

My partner in flea marketing/vintage crime Kathy/Kate and I took a trip to old milwaukee and visited the very cute shop farm girl art and antiques in milwaukee. Lisa, the shop owner was so nice and helpful, which made the visit extra fun. we are already planning another trip back, not just to shop but also see Chelsea, her cute little doggie. Chelsea was sporting a wooly sweater and perfectly coif bouffant doo. I picked up the grumpy old men tv, which Lisa has a photo of on her blog. we found out about the shop from the ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! blog.
